OneWolrd South Asia to support eGovWorld 2007

OneWorld South Asia, the leading Civil Society organization has accepted to join the eGovWorld 2007 initiative as the supporting partner. Besides providing the technical support for the conference website, OWSA will convene a dedicated session "Governance4Development" that will focuss on the following aspects:

1) Developmental impacts of e-Governance programs

2) Enhancing Public Sector Integrity with ICT and e-Governance

3) Round table discussion on making the e-Governance programs MDG compliant.

With the National e-Governance Plans for most of the countrioes in place and some successful projects on the ground, the focus should now be on achieving the development goals using ICTs nand e-Governance programs: commented Naimur Rahman , Director OWSA.
