About eGovWorld 2008
The mission of e-GovWorld initiative is to enable a structured framework for e-Government cooperation among the stakeholders from developing and developed countries for sharing of learning practices. The annual e-GovWorld event is the forum that provides and opportunity to consultants, government agencies, academia and civil society organizations to deliberate on various issues related to the domain and showcase their initiatives/ applications.
Aims and Objectives
e-GovWorld 2008 is the Fifth Annual e-Government Summit in the series of International conferences/expositions aimed at enhancing collaboration and exchange of learning practices among the industry, academia, civil society organizations and the public sector. The first conference in the series titled e-GovIndia2004 was held in Chandigarh, India where Indian and European e-Government stakeholders exchanged their experiences. The second , third and fourth summits were held in New Delhi . The reports of the previous conferences is available for download on this website.
