Welcome to the offecial website of eGov World 2008. e-GovWorld 2008 is fifth conference in the series of Annual e-Government Summits organized jointly by The Society for Promotion of e-Governance and its partners from Government of India, The World Bank and Global Governance Industry Players.

The Program Advisory Board comnprises of professionals from across the globe and is chaied by Mr. R.Chandrashekhar, Additional Secretary e-Governance, Government of India.

The theme for this year's confrerence is "Foresight for Third Millennium Public Services" with a special focus on MObile Governance for making the government services available to underserved and rural areas.
